"Relax is an instrumental ambient album. It's a meditation on nature and our connection to everything. Every drop of the ocean, every trickle, stone and fish of the stream, every lullaby of birdsong, every sizzling strand of the rain, every person and all the other animals. Sometimes, I need to stop and take a breath, then head out to nature to regain my sanity. But, that's not always possible. So, I made this record to facilitate a doorway to some of the peace I find when I'm at the ocean, stream, and during a gentle rainstorm." ~Lord Russ
Indeed, this album is very slow moving and hypnotic. It's reminiscent of Brian Eno's more ambient moments, and dare I say... New Age?!...but it works! We put it on in the office when things get stressful, and VOILA!
