This album is what happens when Lord Russ finds a Casiotone Keyboard at a Tag Sale for $2.00, and is left alone for a couple weeks with a digital 8-track recorder, and a pile of Cannabis.
The results are a very different record. It is a personal and spiritual album that reflects Lord Russ' life-view that "Love is all you need". At times Jupiter feels like a techno album, at others a bit folky, while still at other times it sounds like a psychedelic Moody Blues inspired record.
Regardless of genre, Lord Russ delivers once again with soaring melodies, moody mellotrons, harmonies galore, and Russ' trademark vocal stylings.
Mostly, this is Lord Russ bucking trends and simply having fun.
Jupiter spawned the indie hit "Green Hawaii", which combines Lord Russ' love for the islands and Cannabis.
